Every liberal does it too, from center right radlibs to far-right "conservatives": the most extreme right fringe liberals hate the mainstream liberals for not being bigoted enough, the mainstream libs hate the radlibs for not being cruel enough, and the radlibs hate the left for not being chauvinist enough.

Denouncing chauvinism in particular is like a liberal moral event horizon, a cardinal sin against their self-interested belief in the righteousness of the imperial hegemon that keeps the treats flowing at gunpoint.

It's a snarky summarization of the liberal trend to compromise on their ethics and then become proud and defensive over those compromises, and to paint doing unconscionable things as "responsible if regrettable."

I'm not talking about the blind spots they have on things like small business despots, where they just genuinely don't have the first clue how awful they are, but on big issues where it's practically a meme that "oh it's bad but there's just nothing to be done." There is a very clear understanding that just uncomfortably pushing it out of mind is a wrong and selfish thing to do, but they do it anyways and then try to build justifications for it.
