People come to the restaurant for the Italian food and have commented that it’s strange to not have as many Italian staff as would be expected any more. This is catastrophic for the industry.
imagine how horrible the UK is now, that people are going back to Italy for more opportunity

gotta say its kinda weird to me to expect italians in an italian restaurant in london but i guess thats the sort of thing you can do when you're united europe

Lol, there's a chain of "Italian American" themed restaurants here in the UK called Frankie and Benny's.
There's pictures of some fake family on the walls doing stereotypical things like boxing and eating spaghetti and there's a loop of basic Italian lessons always playing in the toilets. The foods pretty good though as far as chain restaurants go.
