Pretty close to my experience. I find starting harder than stopping, but both are difficult. Technically I can do both, but it requires much more effort than neurotipicals seem to expend or compared to myself when medicated
Just like all the other 1-line descriptions, its accurate but very incomplete. At some moments there are some tasks i can start easily, while at other moments they'll be hard to start, and at the exact same moment it'll be the reverse for other tasks. And the same for stopping tasks.
For me starting is hard, super hard. Stopping is only hard because of time blindness.
However, much like with Autism, once you've met one person with ADHD, you've met one person with ADHD. The severity of symptoms can very greatly from person to person.
