I expect the people who made threats to be banned for ToS violations and federal investigations on them.

Absolutely not! It's simply because if you are still on that shithole of a site after all we've seen, you got it coming.
Reddit is not bad per se, spez & Co are. If they really wanted, they could do so much good: API, ActivityPub, fact checking, moderation, Wikipedia-style NPO, etc.
They don't though. And continuing to remain there continues to push the interests further and further away from the user base. There is absolutely 0 reason for them to do any of those things or implement those changes; it costs money and would decrease the power they wield over the users, and this would drop share prices.
Renaining there is a continued vote of confidence in the direction of the site and it's propaganda.

I hope they keep doing it. I hope they flood all the default subs with it. Keep it up until there are no subs left to ban.

yeah idk, I think there should be a line when it comes to actual death threats, no matter against whom.
But I acknowledge the hypocrisy and irony in this situation.
