How does college suck out intelligence and creativity?
It made me start sounding like an expert on all sorts of topics and acknowledge when I don't know things instead of joining in with the people around where I grew up in their creative imagining of ways to explain why the world is getting warmer without needing to change behaviors or their clever jokes at the expense of minorities.
For real though it's that college made their kids/smart friends disagree with them

However, I think the joke is that all users on Reddit are "educated' as in if you are on Reddit you believe you are a professional on everything.
However, Lemmy is no different. It's a "not like other girls" kind of post. People on Lemmy think they are different because they aren't maim stream so therefore they are more educated because they can point out others that think they are educated and use Reddit.

Seeing that lemmy is plastered with posts coming from reddit, I'm not sure this is great news.
At the end of the conveyer belt, there should be another belt with armchairs on them for the fresh graduates to plop on.
