I watched this and his other video about Upstate NY last year. I'm not ready to conclude there is one officially, as he's kinda lacking on methodology (is there an understory, and are there a lot of salamanders), but I like the concept and do agree with the outcome, just needs more info than what is given. However, I do also realize this is a YouTube video and not a scientific survey of the ecosystem lol. I'm hoping there are continued updates. Growing up in the woods, it's kinda vindicating to hear that the forests here are bit more than just the run-of-the-mill woods you see everywhere else.
