Wtf does he think modern day Africa is lmao, he thinks we ride lions to school or some shit? That I keep a pet lion in the backyard? That they just roam though the cities like it's an everyday thing?
The only time I've seen a lion here was in a nature reserve, that literally had the word "lion" in it's name lol.

Africa had large kingdoms when Europeans were still only using Bronze but this guy thinks Africans would still be hunter-gatherers without slavery smh. People are so idiotic but it ultimately comes down to how Africa is positioned within our (UK, USA, probably the other Anglos) education systems. Epistemic exclusion + general racism means that Africa is not taught from an African perspective and is only seen as a backwater plaything of the European powers even when imperialism is taught critically.
