I've got to say, Steam's native Wine/Proton implementation works decently well, and really entices me to buy games without native Linux support on Steam.

Absolutely fair point, you may well be right. I pretty much agree on all points.
Eh, the BBC was never good, admittedly. But It wasn't until recent decades that BBC staff actually were explicitly instructed by the government to not just provide a platform for shitty reactionaries, but actively spout right-wing garbage and perform actual corporate shilling.
I want to say ARP. Can I say ARP?
I searched for this as I wanted to know the scene, and youtube literally wouldn't find it >:( Thank you.
I won't at all deny that society has historically been a lot more hostile to vegans than vice versa. I grew up a vegetarian me whole life and that got enough of that unwarranted abuse as it is. But I'll be honest, in my personal experience, I've met about a hundred vegans who weren't bothered to talk about it (but were frequently harassed by others for their veganism anyway), five vegans scream abuse at me, and between zero and one who wanted to engage in a conversation or saw me as someone to be convinced. I just think it's a different kettle of fish.
Followed by brrrrrrBRRRRRRRaaaaAAaAAaAKRrrrRKrrrKRrrkrKRrKrrKrRkrrrrrrrrrrr, in my experience.
I struggle with this, I make a minor effort but what am I meant to do when my high Cha, high Diplomacy character is more charismatic and diplomatic than me? :( I either skimp on the RP or do some very unrealistic RP as my awful unconvincing wording magically convinces the NPC anyway.
This seems like the right take. It's based on expectations.
Though slightly cliche, this just feels right. That niece has learned a great lesson about how collaborating to improve things is always possible, and that open-source relies on everyone doing their bit.
We do not disagree~
