This is already a modern hellscape scenario that happens. Check out the UK postmaster scandal, a piece of software said that >100 postmasters across the country were stealing money. They all protested their innocence. Many were imprisoned for decades. Many committed suicide over it. Years afterward, they realised the software might be faulty, and didn't say anything. Only recently did they have to admit that it was probably a bug.

Yeah fascists may want to genocide entire peoples, but they'll vote their way there so it's okay!

HG Wells certainly has spouted capitalism apologia, but this specifically reads very much like an intentional, satirical mocking of eugenics.

To be fair it is a pretty weird and obscure meme

The whole point of having a romantic relationship is to slowly and tactfully let them realise on their own how surrounded by western propaganda they are.

Why? What did you guys think the point of intimacy was? Love or children or something?

Literally anybody who can afford rent, can by definition afford to BOTH maintain a home AND keep a fucking leech solvent.

If you insist on being a lib and keeping money like that, just make some very simple social programs for amortising heavy up-front maintenance costs and simplifying house ownership, and landlords become redundant even within capitalism.

There is no justification - Landlords do not do work, they are parasites.

Russia literally requested, many times, to join NATO. Wrong way around - NATO's whole purpose is to see a country of people reduced to rubble (and also any other countries it feels like along the way).

The whole 'appeasement doesn't work' argument is understandable, but the only alternative is fighting and dying in the tens of millions in the vain hope that a global superpower will lose to a relatively small, fractional country plagued by instability, military incompetence, and corruption. It's also not really applicable anyway, while Russia is far more interested in security and stability than global domination.

Either way, there is the short-term solution middle ground of "let's negotiate on terms that help ensure everyone's future security (including at least some degree of denazification) to prevent further wars". Which I think is what most Hexbearians would want in terms of peace. Obviously the long-term issue is that nationstates as they exist are inherently warmongering and that cannot be stopped without fundamental change.

Just the existence of 196 on that site makes it awful. Why did they see fit to host a bunch of transphobic, nationalist edgelords? Comments I've seen from there make me think their own userbase is unsure about staying.

You may well be right, I guess I'm just trying to be as generous with intentions as I can be.

We certainly pretty much all hold that opinion. We do often talk about a lot of stuff in exaggerated terms simply because that's the culture. It's not deliberately America-focused, but like most English-speaking places on the internet it is full of Americans.

No worries on the questions though friend, ask freely.
