Explain like I'm an American with no access to unbiased information or anything but propaganda and lies and misinformation and disinformation

I live with my grandparents. My 80 year old grandmother who never had to work offers me daily career advice. They bought many 3 bedroom brick homes in the late 80's for 15k and now rent them out for close to 1k per month. I love them dearly, but they've contributed to holding back an entire generation from homeownership. They got to enjoy life on easy mode and now wonder why I can't get my shit together. They wonder why I'm not buying a 350k house on a $15 an hour income, or getting married and starting a family.

Because you took everything and won't give it up. Because you used all the easy to reach resources. Because you fucked up pensions and healthcare and education and housing and every other facet of society and now don't care that I'm living in the shitstorm you created. Fucking hell.

Propaganda. An abysmal education system. Failing social structures. Corrupt media. Networks of the wealthy using their influence to push society in the direction they desire.

I sure want to pay too much money for an unreliable potential fireball built by exhausted workers for a rich puppet that's been portrayed as a genius by a controlled main stream media owned by corporations and governments that use said puppet to build and fund tech used by the military to murder strangers around the world.

Maybe they're more likely to take online polls. Were the participants invited to take the poll, or just posted somewhere and left up for people to discover and take if so inclined? I don't care about these results, just pointing out that usually these things aren't terribly reliable. Maybe this poll of some 6,000 perfectly represents Gen Z. I have no idea.

Is there an agenda to push, or is it less of a stigma and a sign of progress? Are the chemical products in our environment changing our hormones, or are young impressionable people following a trend? Will this trend continue, and what is the desired peak since this is apparently something to celebrate. Would we be celebrating if biologists determined that homosexuality has increased 64% among giraffes, or would it just be considered data to be viewed with no bias? Are mushrooms really safe to microdose, and what is the recommended dose SWIM should be taking?

I flew in third grade during recess just east of the swings while I was chasing a leaf. Only flew about 3 feet off the ground for maybe 10-12 feet and glided back down.

I wish it wasn't so necessary to own a vehicle in most US cities and towns. We shouldn't be living this way.

Is anyone else too busy just trying to get through the day to care about shit like this? Politics, war, weather, gender arguments- who gives a fuck? I can't afford a place to live.
