(if we were to question bonafides of leftist intellectuals[^1] just because they are supported by someone belonging to the moneyed class, or come from the moneyed class themselves, we'd need to start with certain mr. marx, comrades. and numerous others.)

[^1]: however you value doctorow's qualities as an intellectual.

so should he have divorced her in 2017 to prove his ideological purity?

(waves to the local chapter of the leftist circular firing squad)

the technical term is either “confabulation” or “bullshit”; “hallucination” is a misleading label coined by the ai pushers.

they also stored this thing as a fucking string. looking up strings is costly.

i'm not doing databases for living but the idea of stringifying a perfectly cromulent unique number in order to store it in the database comes as slightly weird to me.

don't be the annoying pedant; we're fully capable of understanding that the “national socialist german workers' party” was not a socialist party (and that a “nazi” is a pejorative and was from the start), that the phrase “marxist-leninist” is generally used to mean “left-authoritarian but want to pretend it isn't”, that the “communist party of the soviet union” was actually presiding over a project of building an authoritarian state capitalism, and that the “republican” party in the united states is trying to make the united states a theocratic dictatorship.

i implore the tech nerds to learn a modicum of biology before making very confident statements.
