Firstly, congrats! My big recommendation is to track your blood pressure if you can-- my doc has told me to do that while i'm on E + Sprio

you can always try a puppy distro! they're super barebones and you can get them really lightweight, shouldn't really have any problems with running something like one of the slackware-based pups or maybe an older debian pup. you can check it out here! https://forum.puppylinux.com/puppy-linux-collection

while i find the colours you chose appealing, a bunch of the font colours are too close to stand out well over their backgrounds? there are a few that are genuinely hard to read-- some better contrast would help a lot also, the vertical column is a bit weird to follow? like, what's the process of going down after being asked about windows versions to get to gaming preference? it's a weird way to have the path work. even if you just put something like "i don't particularly care about windows" as the third option would help a little, i think?

sorry that's mostly about your graphic, and not the actual recommendations, lol

unfortunate to see, it's been a great app for a long time. Anyone know of an alternative that's good? I mostly just read on mobile through firefox on mangafire now, but would love if an app offered a better experience

Hi all!

I've been dual-booting windows and linux mint for a while now. I'm mostly being held back by just a few things preventing me from switching to only linux, though. One thing in particular is I'm running a small new business for printing art and photos, and we use the proprietary Canon Professional Print & Layout software to set up all sorts of custom layouts.

It's nice because it's quite purpose-built for choosing different papers, has really nice control over margins, sizing, and placement, and integrates nicely with our printer. It also gives tools for professional colour management, as well as soft-proofing in client.

Do any of you have experience with native linux software that works similarly to this? Is this type of functionality one of the things that GIMP can cover? (I tried years ago to learn how to tackle GIMP but I simply did not click with it, though I'd be willing to give it another shot if there isn't a better choice)

Also, I think CUPS can contact my printer on the network, but i am worried that i might lose some functionality without the proprietary drivers? Like HDR/high bit-depth colour or something.

If any of you have experience or tips on this, I'd really appreciate it!

Did them both in dutch ovens, mostly followed King Arthur's "Naturally Leavened Sourdough" recipe with some extra water. I didn't slash them very well, but they still rose quite nicely~
