You've done an awesome job. And anyone complaining needs to remember that Kbin/ Fediverse is still in its infancy stages: It's going to cry, teethe, piss and shit itself when you least expect it. But with the right care (and time), one day it'll be a lot easier to manage.

Thanks so much for the help. I'll try to gather some evidence/anecdotes from others and get back to you soon.

And I have no idea if this helps but on Friday afternoon things seemed fine for me. I was able to post the "Edge's last match" and "Pro Wrestler Charged with Assault" threads with no issue whatsoever. Again, don't know if that helps, just want to give you as much info as I can. Thanks again.

Yeah, that's weird.

FWIW, @GeekFTW and I are responsible for 70-80% of the posted content on our magazine. If both of us are having this issue then it's going to be a big problem for our growing community.

I know these things are tricky and take time to solve. I know this won't be fixed overnight. But next Sunday is one of the biggest pro-wrestling shows in history and the last thing I want is for some of our users to not be able to experience that with us. A few of us have gotten to know each other pretty well because of this place. It'd be heartbreaking if we can't all come together during that epic show.

Appreciate hearing that. Weirdly enough, the posters who've brought it up are actually Kbin users...

The error occurred again as I posted this. So there's a good chance many won't see this either :/

Since Monday, I’ve had issues posting threads. I’ll get an error message saying:

We are working on resolving the issues

Over the next few days, there will be a change in server infrastructure. Temporary problems with the website's functionality may occur during this time.

...Despite the message, my threads will still post to the magazine--but few users can see them.

I’m sorry if this has been addressed before; I did a quick look at this mag and couldn’t find the exact issue I’m dealing with. I’m just wondering if this is normal ‘fediverse growing pains’ or something I need to fix on my end?

Thanks for any help. We have a massive event coming up in a week—probably going to drive a tonne of traffic to our magazine—and I’m really hoping we can find a fix before then.

EDIT: The specific magazine I'm referring to is this one: kbin.social/m/Squaredcircle

Part of it depends on how you want to play. Personally, I love playing a CC/buffer/debuffer version of cleric. Outside of the spells mentioned by others, here are some of my favourites:

Sanctuary — I can’t tell you how many times I’ve saved an ally/myself from death because of this spell.

Shield of Faith— cast this on your melee meat shield and let them do what they do best.

Faerie Fire — IMO one of the most underrated spells in the game.

Guidance — One of the best cantrips for people who like to role-play in towns and villages. Cast it on yourself or your bard and make haggling with townsfolk a whole lot easier.

Those are all pretty low level spells. And FWIW If you’re a fan of buffing/debuffing/CC than Twilight Cleric is fucking incredible. It’s basically broken if you know what you’re doing.

lol Thanks :) Kbin, Lemmy, or Mastodon--it doesn't matter to me, as long as we're all working together to build something better than the last place.

This is awesome. I hope you guys don't mind, heres a link to one of the bigger pro-wrestling "subs" on the fediverse. It's on Kbin instead of Lemmy, but there's more than a few Lemmy users among us. Here's the link:

When are they selling those tee-shirts? My 6-year-old nephews birthday is coming up and he’s a big fan of The Elite. He’d love a shirt of their flexing biceps.

Alternative / Indie Rock. Song comes from the album "Shields."

Those prices are bonkers. But—as someone who bought a knock-off brand of sriracha the other day—it doesn’t totally surprise me. The knock-off stuff is terrible.

I'm posting this again because I may have accidentally made a new comment instead of replying to you. I'm still working out the kbin kinks...

I haven't played Magicka so I can't compare (although reading the comments I feel like I have to play it now) but for me, what makes DD great is its smooth combat system. It's real-time action with varying casting times, so you need to be strategic about how you cast spells and when. Your character can switch classes pretty much whenever you want and you gain access to different spells the more you play certain classes. I could go on, but the last thing I'll say is that I've never played a better version of "magic Archer" in video games.

One massive downside to the game is its story; It's pretty much non-existent. But if you like awesome combat and party management it's one of the coolest games out there. And I haven't even mentioned the pawn system yet lol

Dragon's Dogma has to be near the top of the list for me...if not number one.
