Not for $60

I shouldn't be made to feel guilty for living my life in this hellscape that were forced to live in. I'm not going to inconvenience myself and make own life harder while the elite fly around in private jets and are more wasteful in a day than I could ever be in my entire life. I care about the environment and want things to change, but I'm not the problem. And if you are trying to make the common person bare the guilt for climate change, you're part of the problem. I do what I can when I can. But to inconvenience myself or spend more of what little money I have to make a negligible difference compared to what a corporation or a single billionaire could do is not gonna happen. Simple as that.

Stop putting the blame on the individual when corporations easily account for over 70% of global emissions and pollution. My gas powered car isn't gonna change shit.

All apps have a recurring cost if the dev is continuing to develop the app. At the scale these apps are working the labor the dev puts in in the most expensive part. Plus Lemmy is continually updating so to keep the app working the dev will need to continually update.

Amazing! Thank you! I love the app, keep up the great work. I also wouldn't be opposed to paying for premium features to help support development!

I hate this feature with a burning passion. It makes it hard to zoom in and move around. It's slow. And when my screen dims while I read I can't wake it up without closing the image.

Please let me disable this feature in settings

I read somewhere that doing that makes it harder for the police to just "disappear" you

Also, it's possible for my upvotes and down votes to be collected but hidden much like it is on reddit.

That's true for one single instance. But I'd think it'd be harder for your non home instances to track your votes without them being exposed in some way. Right?

Certified? So they collect signatures? No thanks

I don't mean this in a sort of "gotcha" way, but why shouldn't those things be public on this sort of platform? That seems like the bare minimum for a community to prosper

I think it'd be great to see the patch notes in app with maybe customization settings to display them on app open or something. I love exploring the new features and see the progress is app is making but I often forget to look at the notes in the play store.

If this already exists then I apologize!

I love the app and am excited to see it continue to mature.

When making a new post from a view that isn't on a community directly (all, local, or frontpage) it'd be great if the community name field autocompleted communities where I started typing the name much like it does in the side bar search.

Love the app!

I think it'd be great if when I view the link of a post, whether it be an image or whatever, if that marked the post as read. Which would go great with the already existing feature to hide read posts.

Additionally, a button on the main view to see or hide read posts would be cool too but not as important.

Keep up the great work, I love the app!

Edit: it looks like there is already a setting "Mark post as read on image view" that I didn't see. So looks like that works. But it doesn't make the title of the post change from normal to "read" like it does when you click it

I've been using Connect as well and love it. All the UI customization options allowed me to make it look and feel very much like RiF. Plus the developer is very active and updates it frequently.
