There goes my hope for a job that won't make me go insane

Let's hope this doesn't end up like "emission credits"

I feel like sewing belongs here. And cooking, at least to some degree.

It's easier to reason with a doctor than a computer. I can imagine you'd be in the system for good after such "evaluation" so it could mean slim chances of retesting

(Poland mentioned) We're deeply disappointed but not surprised. The other manufacturer (PESA) is just straightforward known for being unreliable so it's a hammer and anvil kind of situation.

We're getting a suspicious number of leaks, considering oil being a vital and expensive stuff hmm

Thanks! Through these 4 months I haven't found out anything, I got a temporary job as well so I haven't had much of free time either.

One thing I saw is splitting the task even smaller than the usual. Things like"I'll just open the document/ write one line and see how I feel" which might work sometimes.

I was concerned about doing the thing that's already been done by other people but it dawned on me that when I cook (I love cooking), I'm doing the same thing. Using a recipe shared by hundreds of people, yet it's still fun and has a personal touch. That one was really helpful.

It's my las month at the job so I'll be able to get back to coding soon and test the findings.

How did it go? Did you like it? I'm very fond of gong fu.

Just nuke the whole world and be done with it

While I don't wish anybody such a job, working towards displacement of human workers, when working is mandatory for survival, is one of the most evil things.

I have an opened pack of niboshi, used it to make tare for ramen. Since then, the smell is very aggressive. I have it triple bagged, put in a container, which is double bagged. The cupboard has mint teabags laid out, it’s only making it worse. I doubt baking soda would do any difference. I was thinking about the freezer but it’s a one way street so I’d like to avoid that.

How do I trick my brain into completing a project? I'm making an app that shows which voice actor plays a character in the movie and what other movies they act in. It's useful for me personally so the internal motivation is here but sometimes I feel like I'm making something that's been done numerous times over and I lost the momentum because I'm on vacation with my family now.

I ran into some problems with the project too and getting help takes a ton of time so it's disrupting the rythm too. I wish I didn't have to rely on other people so much but the documentations don't answer all of my questions. I really have to put at least 2-3 projects like this for a portfolio;_; halp

A cup of tea and a net cup with used leaves next to it Smells leafy. Almost not bitter at all, sliiightly sour. Overall pretty balanced.I don't have much experience at describing tea but I can tell I like this one :)

It's a yeeen (self.artshare)

The sixth entry in my first sketchbook. The spots destroyed me xD I was too tired to try figure them out. A rough sketch of a hyena laying on its side. Its butt is towards the viewer and the hyena has the head raised, is looking at the viewer

Most of the times when I enter a community list for an instance and wants to check dach community, I get this error. About 8 out of 10 cases, I don't see anything. Is it on lemmy's side or the app's? Can I do anything about it? It seems that using the direct link rarely works too.
