I have an opened pack of niboshi, used it to make tare for ramen. Since then, the smell is very aggressive. I have it triple bagged, put in a container, which is double bagged. The cupboard has mint teabags laid out, it's only making it worse. I doubt baking soda would do any difference. I was thinking about the freezer but it's a one way street so I'd like to avoid that.
