I've read a times article the other day that claimed it is important for food prices to stay high even though inflation stoped, because otherwise people would stop buying stuff because it might get even cheaper. Yea let me just stop buying groceries for a month.

People are always like "the people must have known what Hitler was up to. He published a book about racial ideology and being a dictator." And then I see this shit with people cheering in the back.

Or medication or hygiene products or toys or actually anything. The store is not paying me to care.

You forgot mentioning the chokers and thigh highs you have bought since then.

We still don't know if Hitler's party burned down the Parliament or if it was a convenient coincidence for him. All we know is that there was a fully worked out bill on the president table just a few hours later which uses this extreme circumstance to break the law (and eventually establish a dictatorship). Seems awfully suspicious

German chancellor Olaf Scholz wrote about how we are in a time of change cause the power structures of the world are shifting. He called the chapter about Russia "the empire strikes back".

Fun fact of the day: extreme constipation can result in build up that can reach all the way to your stomach. If the situation does not clear up soon after, patients might throw up poop. This is extremely dangerous and often results in suffocation by shit.

Hey everyone, I live in a dorm like apartment where my Internet plan is part of my contract. I have a monthly data limit which just isn't enough for me. Buying additional data is stupid expensive. I found out though that your used data is only calculated once you disconnect from the internet completely. So my idea is to get a small device that is constantly connected. I could use an Amazon echo / Google home, but I'm not comfortable with the idea of having one. Could I just hook up something like a raspberry pie to the Internet and how would I go about ensuring that it has a constant connection? Thanks for your time and sorry for the long post.

And also fucking 16 wheelers. Romans did not drive 80 ton (made up number. I don't know how heavy big trucks are. But I'm Shure they are lighter than ancient wagons. To be honest I just hate cars and I want to use a scientific discussion to push my personal political view.) vehicles.

My train was stopped in the middle of my ride home because of a terrorist attack, I may have missed the last ever chance to celebrate with my great-grandmother because my entire extended family got COVID, my hometown is desperately trying to prevent a huge flood and when i found out that i would be sad and lonely on christmas my muslim friends ghosted me :) So its a mix of some circumstances.

As a history student I was really afraid that I would meet a ton of right wingers. But I must say the worst kind of people so far are history students that only study history to become teachers. They keep laughing at me saying that at least they have a future and that I will eventually switch sides and become a teacher too, I just don't know it yet :(
