https://www.polygon.com/2018/7/15/17574248/aliens-colonial-marines-fixing-code-typo-ai-xenomorphs yep, a code typo broke the alien AI. Unfortunately for that game though no amount of delays could've helped it, there were many more problems besides the AI. The AI was just the biggest problem.

Not really true at all. If all you care about is raw performance, then that's debatable, but if you're talking ease of use then Linux is fine. Just grab a distro with an Nvidia ISO like pop_os and install, nothing else left to do.

I keep seeing people mentioning NixOS, what's so unique about it that people like?

Didn't they just get busted for essentially promoting child focused gambling rings or something along those lines?

Nvidia absolutely does not care about dedicated gaming GPUs anymore though, this is where their focus currently resides. Do you understand how much money Nvidia makes on their server hardware vs the consumer graphics card market? It's absolutely disgusting how much their server offerings are making them right now. They don't care about anecdotal scenarios like yours where you can tell a 120Hz VRR displaying is hitting a flat frame time. There will be a day when Nvidia just won't offer midrange graphics cards anymore, because it's just going to cost too much with little return on their investment over the server hardware and subscriptions.

Can't up vote this enough, Nobara is great for gaming.

This is a terrible apology video, what the fuck Linus...I hope they make another video regarding the sexual assault allegations. This is just in bad taste...I mean we're talking almost blizzard levels of sexual harassment and assault stopping short of driving someone to suicide. Fuck these guys and their channel I hope they go under and get buried.

EndeavourOS, it just works really well and never breaks. The only time I had an issue was when I was using the Zen kernel and it locked up installing league of legends and watching a YouTube video at the same time. Using the mainline kernel though gives me no issues.

I mean, you kinda prove my point, they probably grew too fast, realized they need more money and are now chasing profit. Linus did it to himself, now corporate greed is stepping in because his way simply wasn't working and he recognized he sucks at running the company. Now they're putting out rushed videos with inaccurate numbers and benchmarks to chase those profits. Like I said, it's clear what's happening.

I'm not buying that, there's probably a little bit of truth in there, but honestly it's pretty clear what's happening. The higher ups require a certain amount of videos a week to be profitable, if they don't meet that quota then they're not making money or they think they're not making money. They're also pretty clearly favoring their sponsors and reviewing their products positively without showing actual credible benchmarks. It's the sign of corporate greed creeping in once again and someone finally called out their bullshit. Linus isn't taking it very well, and I can imagine why when someone you thought to be a friend or colleague is now calling you out with credible evidence that you're just bullshitting around and half-assing the product you build from the ground up.

For me, this is the main point, GN has prided itself in integrity and making sure meticulous detail is done on every benchmark, LTT doesn't do that and only worries about pumping out 7-10 videos a week to keep up with the YouTube algorithms (which may or may not be a real issue). I'm inclined to be behind GN on this one.

I think a certain controller model was more susceptible to stick drift than others. I think it was after the horizon forbidden West bundle where they started selling newer controller models with more reliable sticks. Both of my ps5 controllers have been dropped, thrown, played after and while eating by children and they're still fine. I have also have a dualsense edge controller for myself though so I don't really care what the kids do to their controllers. Grand total of 3 controllers and none of them have drift.
