Scrubs is well known to be the only really accurate depiction of American hospitals. Mostly because it's the only show where nurses even exist.

Today's high temp and humidity in Rio gives them a Wet Bulb Globe Temperature of 77⁰F, which is not great. WBGT of 80⁰-90⁰F is the danger zone, and recent research has suggested that WBGT 85⁰ is probably a more realistic upper limit of human safety.

Not gonna lie, being a nurse during a pandemic with that jackass as president broke something in me

The grand irony is how literal a violation of the third commandment this is. This shit right here is what taking the Lord's name in vain really means.

TNG photo bombing a team of Martian Marines from The Expanse. We're doing Expanse crossovers now.

(I highly recommend watching The Expanse. It's great.)

I chose a deeper cut Expanse reference, but in truth I'm Avasarala in public, Naomi in my heart

Literally why I'm single in my late 40s

I dunno, I still run into an awful lot of people who seem to sincerely believe that "both sides" just randomly call people they don't like "Nazis" for kicks. Things like this make it harder to bury the fact that no, no really, Republicans are fucking Nazis.

Yeah that whole thing was glossed over. I don't think it's much of a spoiler, but it was the civil war that happened after the Supreme Intelligence was destroyed that decimated the environment. But no explanation how or why that led to the star being too dim. And the thing that was set up as the next big battle at the end of CM1 (destroying the Supreme Intelligence) happened off screen between the movies. It was just so frustrating
