I did but it wasn't easy and required a lot of self control.
I started with a 6mg fluid in an 80 watt device, using a bottle of 0mg fluid I titrated down to 4.5mg, then 3mg, then 1.5mg,.75mg and so on until there were only trace amounts of nicotine left.
At this point I switched entirely to the 0mg fluid for a few days until it no longer felt like a compulsion to reach for it, the addiction having been suppressed.
Diehard is 100% a Christmas movie, however, Die Hard 2 which also takes place at Christmas time, is NOT a Christmas movie, as the fact that it's Christmas is coincidental and not at all integral to the plot.
I think the comparison to a leech is accurate, as the leech does not know or understand it is a bloodsucking parasite, but continues to steal blood and nutrients, those ignorant of the work unions perform will benefit from them regardless of their contribution.

Friendo here in the US you can use ∆8-THC in almost all states, it is legally distinct from ∆9, the kind found in real weed. ∆8 is made through the chemical adulteration of CBD, something that is made from hemp, an industrial crop. Synthetic weed is neither prohibited, nor discouraged in most of the US and can be purchased at gas stations.
From experience: in the US especially we're sold this idea of the nuclear family: a husband, a wife, 2.5 kids and a dog with a picketed yard. It sounds nice, when that's how you've grown up and how your friends have grown up and how your parents live and how your grandparents live. We're sold this idea, this lie, so intensely because our country wants us to be in these easy to control family units designed to enforce patriarchy.
When a man is taught his job is to be a patriarchy, to be stoic, to be the protector and provider, he forgets his own needs. When aan forgets his own needs, he unwittingly lies to those close to him, those who love him. Those who think he loves them, beyond familial tie.
These are doubly so for those of us who are neurodivergent, as were taught from birth that we must suppress our own needs so those around us will tolerate us. It doesn't matter if I loved her or not, she loved me and that means I have a responsibility.
Anyway those are just my 2 cents, but what do I know, I'm just a late 20s divorced autistic trans woman, cishet relationships are an enigma to me.
