FFXIV runs on great on Linux. (Non-steam & steam) (lemmy.world)
 

FFXIV runs great on Linux even without using third-party tools. No XIV Launcher, no Lutris. Only use Steam, it works for both.

Windows only Non-steam game version. (keep 1.0 toons)

Go to steam store and download the free trial of FFXIV

Set launch options Using "echo "%command%" | sed 's/-issteam(freetrial|)//' | sh" without quotations

I had zero issues. It runs better on Pop OS then on windows. I hope this can help someone. I did not make this; big thank you to BeppisMAX person from protondb.

I don’t generally recommend getting content from these influencers/clickbait on YouTube, podcasts or elsewhere. It’s largely the equivalent of junk food or reality TV. There are a couple people making good videos about GrapheneOS like @sideofburritos . Most good content is written.

GrapheneOS is so great on pixel, I hope you all try it! The private & secure mobile operating system with Android app compatibility. Developed as a non-profit & is free and open source software. Privacy, security & anonymity FOSS!
