I'm not sure if this applies to the Pixel 7, but with the 6a disabling 5G (setting preferred network to LTE) helps appreciably with battery life.

Easy assuming you're on the latest update, June and onward fixed my battery issues for me personally. Standard base model Pixel 7 here.
Place all apps that don't need to notify you RIGHT AWAY into restricted power mode!
Settings > Battery > Battery Usage > click on each app that doesn't need to give you instant notifications and make sure to change the ones you can from optimized to restricted.
If you're using Revanced YouTube like I do personally, MAKE SURE to disable MicroG (the app used to authenticate Google login services), it WILL run in the background and drain battery, YouTube itself is fine to leave as you use it. (Optimized is how I have mine)
By disable do you mean uninstall? Or do I just put it in restricted?
Restricted.
Not a recommendation, but personally I am planning to switch to GrapheneOS once I repair my broken USB-C port on my P7Pro.
I've heard it isolates many apps, preventing them from draining battery.
7 pro since launch day here. Always had really disappointing battery life.
I used mine for very trivial tasks. On WiFi virtually all day, indoors most of the day. I use my phone casually--no video games, no video chat apps. I will take it off the charger at 7:45am and use it for MAYBE 2.5h of screen time over the course of 11-12h during the day and I'll be at 35% battery left. If I do ANYTHING just shortly taxing and I have to charge it midday.
Google soc and hardware choices are very power inefficient.
My wife has a 7a and also had disappointing battery life.
Google isn't on a good path so far I'm my opinion.
For the first time I'm completely disinterested in what Google is doing with their pixel phones. I went to an S23 ultra and battery life has been nothing sorry of amazing, and the concerns I used to have with camera on Samsung phones isn't really an issue to me anymore.
Pixel 7 or Pixel 7 Pro? I keep seeing people talking about their Pixel 7 and they mean the Pro version.
I would start uninstalling typical battery hog apps, like any social media apps you got, for a day or two and see if batttery life improves.
In general remove apps one by one, see what makes a difference. Or go extreme with a factory reset just in case.
Setting the lowest brightness setting you are comfortable with in the adaptive brightness setting. Do this for indoors and outdoors. You may have to set it a couple of times for each, but the phone will eventually remember. Also, turn off Bluetooth if you don't use it.
Accubattery SOT estimates are highly inaccurate, don't let them raise your standards to much
Really? I was getting a bit more SOT in this app than in android system app. But BBS is reporting same SOT as AccuBattery, that means BBS is also wrong?
Look at which apps are drawing the most power and remove them. Also, try turning Airplane Mode on when you're on WiFi, since the cellular modem uses a lot of power.
I'm on the latest beta and I feel like battery life is improved
Android 14?
Yeah. Prior betas were buggy but this one is stable and battery seems good
Get another phone unfortunately. There's nothing you can do to get a decent battery life on a Pixel phone, sadly.
