The hardest part was just having to wait to cut into it
I’m Dutch, never heard of it. Looks nice btw except for those green things :)
It's an American dish and the Americans who are credited with creating and trademarking the name are the ones who named it a "dutch baby." There's speculation it's because they meant to say Deutsch to make it extra ridiculous but a lot of our foods in the US have names that are evocative of other countries.
Ah ok. Thought i missed something that everyone was eating here and never told me :)
The basil added a nice light lift against the onion jam and goat cheese.
Isnt the amount of basil a little overpowering? I mean i use basil in small amounts because of the strong taste.
(Damnit now im hungry)
I can't think of a time where there's been too much basil. Only too little.
This is me with garlic
Apparently it's one of those things where English speakers confused "deutsch" with "dutch".
The thing is, most germans also have never seen a dutch baby
Really, never seen a dutch baby? Not even on the beach?
Obviously not. Everyone knows that the Dutch hatch from eggs, fully grown.
This is my baby picture
This chain went in a direction I did not expect but I'm. here. for. it!
Your Yorkshire pudding looks like it needs more gravy.
Wouldn't have minded a little drizzle of gravy on top tbh 😜
