The power of Christ?

Wanting power sounds unholy.

[–] tsonfeir@lemm.ee 12 points 8 months ago

It compels them.

[–] MisterD@lemmy.ca 8 points 8 months ago

The power and the freedom to hurt people who do things they don't like in the privacy of their home or property.

[–] Cuttlefish1111@lemmy.world 16 points 8 months ago (1 children)

The power to rape children with impunity.

[–] LocoOhNo@lemmus.org 5 points 8 months ago (1 children)

They've been doing that without impunity for checks watch about 2000 years now. So much so that you just mention Catholicism in the same sentence as "choir boy" and everyone knows what you're talking about.

Cool. Cool cool cool.

One question-

Which sect?

[–] slurpeesoforion@startrek.website 2 points 8 months ago

He also told them that they'd "win so much that would get tired of winning".

Vegeta, what does your scouter say about their jesus juice?

[–] CrayonRosary@lemmy.world 4 points 8 months ago

It should be illegal to say that any religion will have extra political power if you get elected. That should not be protected free speech. It literally violates the constitution.

Will they reach the Avatar state? Some sort of X-Men power? The power of imagination, strong enough to reach a delusional state of full denial of reality? The possibilities!
