Great to have a tutorial!

Free lifting has helped my posture tremendously. You don't need to focus on being a buff gymbro. Just enough intensity to build enough muscle to force your bones into the right shape.

I'm not asking for posture advice, I'm asking how to remove it

Oh well then.. I know a guy that knows a guy. Hope you dont mind headaches.

[–] LemmysMum@lemmy.world 3 points 10 months ago

No head, no ache.

[–] fadingembers@lemmy.blahaj.zone 2 points 10 months ago

Any exercises you would recommend in particular?

[–] LemmyKnowsBest@lemmy.world 26 points 10 months ago (3 children)

I for one need my cervical spine. I am not going to get rid of it.

[–] ObviouslyNotBanana@lemmy.world 12 points 10 months ago* (last edited 10 months ago) (1 children)

Why need? It seems unnecessary. Snail doesn't have it, why should I

[–] Vinny_93@lemmy.world 16 points 10 months ago (2 children)

Snail also has no dick cut it off

So what, you think you're just better than an invertebrate? Say that to an octopus's face

[–] fylkenny@feddit.de 4 points 10 months ago

Can't be a neckbeard if you have no neck.

[–] ObviouslyNotBanana@lemmy.world 5 points 10 months ago (1 children)

Does seem to have the side effect of removing the head though. I only want to remove the highlighted parts

[–] SomeBoyo@feddit.de 6 points 10 months ago (1 children)

Don't worry, the rest is free of charge

[–] ObviouslyNotBanana@lemmy.world 3 points 10 months ago

That's nice at least

[–] ObviouslyNotBanana@lemmy.world 9 points 10 months ago* (last edited 10 months ago)

That won't remove it, that will correct it

[–] THE_MASTERMIND@lemmy.today 15 points 10 months ago (1 children)

Rip it out like a man you wimp

/s

[–] ObviouslyNotBanana@lemmy.world 4 points 10 months ago (1 children)

Seems like a good idea on the surface, but it'll delete other parts that I want to keep.

[–] hungryphrog@lemmy.blahaj.zone 2 points 10 months ago

Then glue them back on. Just do it, coward!

Seems expensive, any DIY methods?

[–] fiercekitten@lemm.ee 9 points 10 months ago

Do you have access to a hungry lion, by any chance?

[–] brb@sh.itjust.works 10 points 10 months ago (2 children)
[–] ObviouslyNotBanana@lemmy.world 8 points 10 months ago (1 children)

I tried that but it was connected to other stock parts I don't want to delete

It's like a tablecloth, you have to pull it fast so everything that's attached to it will stay in place.

Note: you may experience some minor discomfort as the nerve endings separate. This is normal and should quickly resolve itself.

Foward, Down, Forward, High Punch

[–] db2@lemmy.world 5 points 10 months ago (1 children)

Step 1: Stop hunching your head forward.

Barring physical issues preventing it, that's it.

[–] ObviouslyNotBanana@lemmy.world 5 points 10 months ago (1 children)

No, no you've misunderstood the question.

[–] db2@lemmy.world 8 points 10 months ago (1 children)

So you're afraid to try? Good news then, you're already spineless! 😈
