There are plenty of politics communities, but they all seem to focus on posting and discussing articles. Is there a community for posting political ideas and opinions?

There are sublems for various political viewpoints, but a sublem built around differing opinions and discussing them, where people don't automatically downvote things they disagree with? I know of none such. Even the laxest political ones have rampant voting based on agreement, not post quality.
