“The pride flag pushes a political agenda” and the nazi/confederate flags don’t?!

For the sake of your sanity, I STRONGLY recommend that you don’t look for consistent logic in anything proposed/announced by any conservative administration, most especially this one.

'Confederate flag' isnt used to push a poltical agenda? Then why did two southern states incorporated it into their state flags and only just removed them in the past 20 years?? Why do i always see a the flag waving proudly below a trump flag?? Why do conservatives through a hissy fit anyone dares to prohibit its display??

Meanwhile, the pride flag is pushing a poltical agenda of..... inclusiveity and not fucking murdering others for being a little different.

Both have nothing too do with politics. They are about inclusion and torture. And if it is a topic whether we should oppress people (like in the Bundestag), we dont live in a democracy, no matter how many times they tell you that. Nazis dont have Constitutional rights, and should be treated like the want to great everyone else.

What do you think politics entails? Nazis were literally a political party dude

Several people testified at the hearing, including a father who said that his son saw a Pride flag in a school computer lab and he was offended because the Pride flag “sends a clear message about marriage.”

And these are the people who have the absolute gall to call us snowflakes

Pride flags are historical flags.

[–] SoupBrick@pawb.social 18 points 1 week ago (1 children)

Yes, but Pride history is fraught with systematic oppression. Teaching that history weakens existing trust in our current failing system.

WtF still has any "trust in our current failing system" anymore?!?

Children and young adults who have yet to work in a large organization.
