How can people actually not laugh in his face??
Just think about the fact that this man dodged the draft and everyone knows it.
He has never served a day in his life. It used to be pretty much a requirement that a realistic presidential candidate was ex-military.
This shit is bonkers. None of this guys children are at any risk if he goes to war with Denmark, Mexico, and Canada.
Not that he really wants Greenland, or Canada. Its a distraction once again to steer the talking points away from whatever Russia and China are doing, or whatever climate catastrophe they're working on.
Finally, this is only news to people reading left leaning sites. Fox news would gloss over this shit or give it 30 seconds of praise. By the time we get properly agitated about something, his fans have forgotten it ever happened.
People keep saying "How is this not the last straw for people".. He was reelected by people who don't know about these things or don't care.
Incoming: Fox Panel where three fake blond women talk about how they have been to Panama, Greenland and Canada and the people there were really rude and hate Americans even though every school there looked like it was built by America and the guy at the hotel reception said he is so sorry he loves America and please have America come and take it because they really suffer and America is the greatest.
I’m sure Fox News is saying this is just a smart business move to get the other party to compromise by threatening them and not actually enforcing this tariff.

Very limited, compared to his predecessors. Plus, he's got a lot less money to invest/spend. Not my problem (I'm not a US citizen nor I live in the US) but his voters too should be able to separate his fuckery from his actual political actions (whatever they will be)

In that sense you are probably right, but I would say he has more power to make bad decisions that can still seriously fuck shit up abroad than any president from those decades too.

Now you see why he’s trying to normalize the idea of annexation. Greenland has potential to be resource rich and Canada is resource rich.

By "resource rich" I assume you mean "One of the few habitable places on earth in 20 years."
Most of Canada isn't even habitable for weird Canadians. I live close to Maine, and there are some times of the year where you arne't leaving home for a day or two until the snowplows dig everyone out. and our winters are MILD
Yeah. But Canada was dumb enough to build pipelines into America instead of their own refineries or shipping, so they're kind of stuck.

Oil doesn't go off if you store it properly. Or don't extract it in the first place. The fact it has been in the ground for millions of years is testament to that.
And, there's that whole Putin thing I alluded to. Europe might well be interested in surplus oil.
Yeah, we should be using renewables, not fossil fuels, but a lot of the old infrastructure is still here. There's bound to be some interest.
I do feel for the oil workers who might be affected by all this, though, which might be what you're getting at.
Oil (EDIT: in the ground) is stored under a lot of pressure, oil wells cannot be shut off and restarted easily, some might never start again when being shut off, building refineries and pipelines takes years and storing large swaths of crude above ground is incredibly inefficient.
In the end you need a good processing and logistics to get the stuff on the market constantly.
Why cant Canada introduce legislation to Stop providing cruse oil through those Pipeline? Starting from Trumps Inauguration or at least from the start of the next contract renewal. Would be one hell of a Inauguration present

Canada isn't a British colony anymore. Canada has its own king, who is also king of the UK, and also of Australia, and also of New Zealand.
Officially removed the last strings of being a colony in 1982. the head of state with the monarchy was kept as a tradition for the oldies.
Now more accurate to say Commonwealth member, Ally of many, and founding member of NATO.
