Yeah, that whole "???" part wouldn't be pretty.

"US and Russia spearheading the new axis in WWIII" levels of "wouldn't be pretty".

Who else is ready for four more years of "President makes vague statement to sound tough and refuses to clarify any specifics" headlines every few hours?

[–] IchNichtenLichten@lemmy.world 1 points 14 hours ago

I'm ready. If any action is taken I'll pay attention, everything else isn't worth my time.

Dude, with how much annexation is going on in the world right now, and how much that piece of human shmegma loves to pretend to be tough like his dictator idols? Things could very well become a dick measuring contest between superpowers.

I don't condone violence, but... Man I wish that kid hadn't missed last year.

The world would be a better place with Trump and Musk assassinated right now. It's just the truth. And I'm sad it hasn't happened yet.

I'm against political assassination. But how would history have been if someone had killed Hitler? I feel like today we might be in a same situation, where people in the future will wish someone would have done it today to prevent millions of deaths and years of pain and misery. I mean, if someone would have done Putin there wouldn't be a war in Ukraine. If someone would have done Netanyahu there wouldn't be a genocide.

Now thinking about it, I'm not really sounding strong in support of my first comment, do I...

And Zuck. And Bezos. And many more...

If Georg Elser managed to kill Hitler, WW2 wouldn't have happened and millions of people wouldn't die.

I really don't understand why some people don't get it. There are definitely some country leaders whose removal would be in the best interest of humanity.

I agree with you, but, I can not get by the way you shortened World War 2... It hurt me for some reason.

The 'kid' hit the wrong guy. Sadly. He died.

[–] DashboTreeFrog 3 points 21 hours ago (1 children)

I still can't believe The D broke up over Kage saying just that 😢

[–] cyborganism@lemmy.ca 1 points 18 hours ago

Yeah... That's pretty sad.

I wonder how well the US will do when EU countries stop borrowing money to the US after they declared war to a NATO and EU member. I've gotta say, Trump might be the best thing for bringing together the rest of the world, by isolating the US and make it every county's enemy. EU and BRICS, the new coalition against the axis of evil. Who would have thought. So that's his plan to end the war in Ukraine huh.

[–] freeman@sh.itjust.works 4 points 20 hours ago

Sure attacking Denmark is insane (and will not happen) but the US has a long history of meddling in Panama.

In regards to Panama it's more of an issue of Trump saying the quit parts loud than a radical departure from normalcy.

Breaking! Wind goes through Windmill!

More news at 9pm.

[–] Modern_medicine_isnt@lemmy.world 1 points 15 hours ago

Close, more like wind comes out of ass, and insists it smells good. A windmill would actually produce something positive.
