Welcome to the discussion of US Politics!

Rules:

  1. Post only links to articles, Title must fairly describe link contents. If your title differs from the site’s, it should only be to add context or be more descriptive. Do not post entire articles in the body or in the comments.

Links must be to the original source, not an aggregator like Google Amp, MSN, or Yahoo.

Example:

  1. Articles must be relevant to politics. Links must be to quality and original content. Articles should be worth reading. Clickbait, stub articles, and rehosted or stolen content are not allowed. Check your source for Reliability and Bias here.
  2. Be civil, No violations of TOS. It’s OK to say the subject of an article is behaving like a (pejorative, pejorative). It’s NOT OK to say another USER is (pejorative). Strong language is fine, just not directed at other members. Engage in good-faith and with respect! This includes accusing another user of being a bot or paid actor. Trolling is uncivil and is grounds for removal and/or a community ban.
  3. No memes, trolling, or low-effort comments. Reposts, misinformation, off-topic, trolling, or offensive. Similarly, if you see posts along these lines, do not engage. Report them, block them, and live a happier life than they do. We see too many slapfights that boil down to "Mom! He's bugging me!" and "I'm not touching you!" Going forward, slapfights will result in removed comments and temp bans to cool off.
  4. Vote based on comment quality, not agreement. This community aims to foster discussion; please reward people for putting effort into articulating their viewpoint, even if you disagree with it.
  5. No hate speech, slurs, celebrating death, advocating violence, or abusive language. This will result in a ban. Usernames containing racist, or inappropriate slurs will be banned without warning

We ask that the users report any comment or post that violate the rules, to use critical thinking when reading, posting or commenting. Users that post off-topic spam, advocate violence, have multiple comments or posts removed, weaponize reports or violate the code of conduct will be banned.

All posts and comments will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. This means that some content that violates the rules may be allowed, while other content that does not violate the rules may be removed. The moderators retain the right to remove any content and ban users.

That's all the rules!

Always happens to the people you most expect.

[–] ATQ@lemm.ee 28 points 1 year ago

Not the completely predictable consequences of her very own actions!!!1 🙄

[–] argo_yamato@lemm.ee 74 points 1 year ago (1 children)

And nothing of value was lost

[–] dmonzel@lemmy.world 17 points 1 year ago (2 children)

I dunno about that. I always enjoy watching the Majority Report crew making fun of her, so now we'll be without that.

[–] mosiacmango@lemm.ee 17 points 1 year ago (2 children)

They will source her content from rumble or gab or whatever ugly shit us the current favorite of the alt right.

[–] Sharkwellington@lemmy.one 3 points 1 year ago (1 children)

Ayo what is up with people advocating for rumble as though it's a one-for-one alternative for YouTube without mentioning all the...conservative slant? Are they hoping people won't notice that every video is whinging about women and minorities in media?

[–] ZeroCool@feddit.ch 1 points 1 year ago* (last edited 1 year ago)

Are people doing that? Not saying it isn't happening but I don't think I've personally encountered anyone discussing rumble in a positive light that wasn't a right wing crank.

[–] MegaUltraChicken@lemmy.world 5 points 1 year ago (1 children)

I feel like Shapiro, Tucker, etc can pick up the slack for her. I don't think Sam will ever run out of right wing nonsense to cover.

[–] Slwh47696@lemmy.world 4 points 1 year ago

Shapiro hate watching the Barbie movie wearing the same outfit as Ken, and then going on a 40 minute rant about how much he hates a movie made for little girls was peak comedy for me

“YouTube, you see, hates us,” Knowles proclaimed.

Non-hateful people hate you.

"With its vague, some are calling them tyrannical guidelines and their proclivity to censor conservative voices…"

To censor hate.

Conservatives / the Right have a great persecution-complex game. Everyone is out to get them. Everything is stacked against them. Oh, shit. Feel angry / afraid that They are coming for You in particular. Fuck off.

[–] Phegan@lemmy.world 28 points 1 year ago

It's a tool to spread their hate. If they continue to call how censored they are, and use every time they are moderated as an example, it will slowly decay the moderation they receive due to fear of backlash. It's not a persecution complex, it's part of their plan.

[–] Fisk400@feddit.nu 31 points 1 year ago (2 children)

I wonder if daily wire will make her pay that fine for being banned that Steven chowder ranted about.

[–] Illuminostro@lemmy.world 1 points 1 year ago* (last edited 1 year ago)

They'll probably fire her for lost revenue.

[–] some_guy@lemmy.sdf.org -3 points 1 year ago

Imagine downvoting this. You're a fucking slug, downvoter. Get off of Lemmy.

[–] loki_d20@lemmy.world 25 points 1 year ago

Ah, once again the conservative voices people don't realize that they are okay with hate speech because that's their political agenda but expect people to accept it because politics.

[–] ObviouslyNotBanana@lemmy.world 23 points 1 year ago

Oh no that's horrible! /s

[–] captainlezbian@lemmy.world 18 points 1 year ago

Wow this anti bullying activist sure did wind up with some opinions

[–] Cyberflunk@lemmy.world 18 points 1 year ago (1 children)

Does this mean her awful Prageru videos don't show anymore?

[–] VonCesaw@lemmy.world 4 points 1 year ago* (last edited 1 year ago) (1 children)

Sadly they will still be there, they only remove videos from people that say hitler did nothing wrong

[–] DrPop@lemmy.one 4 points 1 year ago

How did you know about my favorite mountain dew flavor?

[–] Riccosuave@lemmy.world 15 points 1 year ago

Great, now YouTube should do a speedrun of taking the Daily Wire off the platform entirely.

[–] Illuminostro@lemmy.world 12 points 1 year ago

Wait until she learns tokens get spent.
