For those who aren't aware of this new series:

It's Sonarr - just saw that the first couple of episodes of this series are on usenet already, so I guess it's not so ironically difficult lol

Fittingly enough they are also now available on The Pirate Bay as torrents.

Peter Sunde said that the show is not a fair description of what happened and that it's missing the focus on what was important.

So basically just some studio making a cash grab then.

I'll pass

Well, it's SVT, the swedish tax funded national tv. I think it's more the case that they fundamentally don't understand the people who were part of the Pirate Bay.

ah ok. fair enough i guess. but it kinda still sounds like its not something super valuable to watch if you are wanting a somewhat accurate account of the story

It's on Usenet. Only in Swedish though, and only Swedish subs.

I can get my hands on the episodes and transcribe to English using whisper, I assume people are interested in that output.

If you could share the translated subs to opensubtitles.com, that would be a great boon

They're here. Someone else saved the day. If the link breaks just reply to this and I'll fix it. https://gofile.io/d/IIvo5Y

Be a good man and publish it on torrents-csv too

I think nowadays easiest is to just translate whatever subs you have using ChatGPT

Jackett found it immediately. Downloaded!

It's pretty ironic, but also very easy to rip. Just use a VPN set to Sweden, and download it directly from SVT with yt-dlp

It's not. You can just yt-dlp it with VPN to Sweden.

Just not worth pirating it until there are at least subtitles for it.
