Rules:

Similarly, if you see posts along these lines, do not engage. Report them, block them, and live a happier life than they do. We see too many slapfights that boil down to "Mom! He's bugging me!" and "I'm not touching you!" Going forward, slapfights will result in removed comments and temp bans to cool off.

We ask that the users report any comment or post that violate the rules, to use critical thinking when reading, posting or commenting. Users that post off-topic spam, advocate violence, have multiple comments or posts removed, weaponize reports or violate the code of conduct will be banned.

All posts and comments will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. This means that some content that violates the rules may be allowed, while other content that does not violate the rules may be removed. The moderators retain the right to remove any content and ban users.

Publications that can't describe things even close to neutrally and factually should be forbidden by law to cover real conflicts.

This. Spreading lies with an intention to mislead the public should be a criminal offence.

I mean, it’s the sun what do you expect? Should just get the mods to ban posts from places like that.

[–] Deestan@lemmy.world 3 points 2 weeks ago (1 children)

Oh this is exactly what I expect from the sun. Plus one vote from me on banning them.

[–] Womble@lemmy.world 1 points 2 weeks ago

I mean, the very useful bot that the mods have made mantadory on each post ranks the Sun as medium credibility same as the Guardian, so surely its a completly legit source.

The only place I know still using “space age” to imply technological superiority are the As Seen On TV commercials.

I did not know they were selling missiles. I kinda want to get one….

[–] FuglyDuck@lemmy.world 12 points 2 weeks ago (1 children)

Wasn’t the space age back in like the fifties?

[–] PugJesus@lemmy.world 4 points 2 weeks ago (1 children)

Here I thought they were using Nazi-era missiles

[–] saltesc@lemmy.world 2 points 2 weeks ago

Really, space age missiles were Nazi missiles. There was that big snatch and grab for their rocket scientists as soon as Germany fell, but before the trials could start.

Can we ban The Sun, Express and morons who link to them?

You can practically hear Rupert jacking off to that headline.
