Narcissus DeGrasse Tyson?

That's actually incorrect, the light reflected by the mirror is time delayed based on 2 x the width of glass on the mirror so you are just kissing a slightly older version of you.

A world renowned scientist like neil should know better

[-] Saik0Shinigami@lemmy.saik0.com 8 points 3 hours ago

so you are just kissing a slightly older version of you.

Younger... The image is delayed, so what's "displayed", is a younger version of yourself.

[-] just_an_average_joe@lemmy.dbzer0.com 1 points 10 minutes ago

Who are you so wise in the ways of science?

[-] elrik@lemmy.world 1 points 31 minutes ago

The younger version of yourself displayed by the mirror is kissing the older version of yourself in front of the mirror, so I suppose you're both correct. Unless you're a photon.

[-] Grenfur@lemmy.one 7 points 3 hours ago

Bold of you to assume that you're not the one in the mirror.

[-] Xanis@lemmy.world 1 points 2 hours ago

Oh that's not a big deal so long as you refuse to look in the direction of the open bathroom door. Everyone knows that!

[-] AnUnusualRelic@lemmy.world 14 points 6 hours ago

This guy needs to be kept away from mirrors for a while.

[-] paddirn@lemmy.world 22 points 6 hours ago

I have thought upon it and am of the mind that he posts about it, then forgets he ever posted it, and posts it again thinking it’s still the first time.

[-] LordWiggle@lemmy.world 8 points 5 hours ago

Repeating himself over and over again, even saying it's something for narcissists, it's probably something he's struggling with himself. And it makes sense, seeing how camera horny he is. If he would do actual scientific research instead of talking about primary school science stuff on cheap TV shows. But no.

Another thought to disturb restful slumber, is that he forgets, keeps trying, and then writes up a new post about it

[-] dat_fast_boi@lemmy.world 12 points 6 hours ago

My theory is he doesn't remember, keeps trying to, and then makes a new post about it when he remembers

[-] PauloPelle@lemmy.world 5 points 5 hours ago
