The whole discussion about 15 minute cities seems to almost entirely come from the right having some huge reaction to some incredibly background thing that isn't a major policy of anyone. I don't care about ""15 minute cities"" I care entirely about things remaining walkable and public transportation being free.

The average adult at a good pace can walk 1 mile in 15 minutes. Do they really think every single square mile will be a locked off box patrolled by cops in guard towers.
