I mean, I suppose that's good, but it feels like his ego doesn't need the attention. He's going to try to find a way to make it part of his campaign, and his supporters are going to eat it up.

This is his worst nightmare, he can't control the narrative
He's going to have to sit still for hours, and if he starts acting up the judge will tell him to shut up or throw him in contempt.
Dude can't handle debates because a moderator might tell him what to do. He won't be able to handle court that's livestreamed with a judge.
Nah. He's not like that in court. You can watch him in any of his previous court appearances (he's been there a lot). He sits there and listens and says I don't recall a lot, or he answers questions.
Trump knows how courts work. He doesn't grandstand when he's there.
True, but this is the first time he will have a real live audience...
It's still a court room. It's not like there's stadium seating.
Well, it'll be on YouTube, so there kind of is.
Uh no. He's not going to see everyone in the same room with him. It's a court room.
Look, I'd love for it to be a ridiculous clown show as much as anyone else but your in for a lot of disappointment if that's what you're expecting. He's going to sit there and act just like hes acted in all the other many many court cases he's been in.
He doesn't need to see his audience to know they're there.
But yeah, it's a court case, so it's going to be boring. But I think he'll need to do something to keep his base interested, and just saying "I don't recall" isn't going to cut it.
Yeah, we'll see. I agree he'll definitely play shit up.
There'll be more people watching than likely any other live event in history; he quite literally will never have and has never had a larger platform.
I guess.
Except for that time he was president lol.
You have this fantasy of how it's going to go, but the reality is going to much more boring. The guy has been in a lot court rooms. It's a game he knows well.
Yea, it’ll be like with Alex Jones. Even if he has the ability to not act out or lie in court he still would in hopes of playing to his base and will hurt his case.
What, you think his base is going to believe "The Media"? This is fantastic for him. It gives him the same kind of attention he got in the lead up to the 2016 election, and won him the election.
This will only be a dumpster fire where people who hate him will get to lounge in their schadenfreude, and the people who love him will get to martyr him with all the conspiracy theories they'll come up with to explain away his guilt. The only people who will suffer will be the people who want this clownshow to end for good.
His base will never change, they are a cult and believe what they want to believe. This will just further bury Trump in the eyes of the moderate R's, the ones who held their nose and voted for Biden, or just abstained from voting last time. It will pull the big donors away from Trump. And it will burn his legacy, which is the worst thing you can do to him.
That might be good too though. Like if a bunch of unreconstructed Trumpers vote Trump in the next election, and he's either jailed or not the candidate... that paves the way for a pretty easy Democrat victory.
Yeah him on every news station during election time will only help him
Is he going on the stand?
His age and drug habits would make that a terrible move, on top of the fact he literally cannot shut up. If he had good lawyers, there would be no possible way in hell they would physically allow him to take the stand even if he insisted on it. Luckily for anyone rooting against him, he has truly terrible lawyers that know they're probably not getting paid at the end of this either way.
A great lawyer would just put a scale under the stand.
*A scale that says the weight out loud
I read that the PAC he’s using to pay for his legal defenses is running low on money, maybe he will go pro se to save some cash
He might. That’s a choice he and his lawyers will make.
I can't remember which investigation it was while he was president, but the lawyers argued he's too dumb or incompetent to be deposed without perjuring himself. Eventually they agreed to 10 questions written and he was allowed lawyers with him to answer.
Any good lawyer will tell the court he isn't testifying and try to keep trump from talking in and out the court.
It would be an interesting choice if he did.
He would be fucked and I would love to watch it
Our countries politics is a literal fucking circus, now televised for the masses.
Here’s to hoping this clown gets what he deserves though.
Oh my God he is going to finally get his ratings.
I cannot wait to hear the reaction when he realizes no one tuned in to watch him get crowned but a ton of people wanted to watch him get bracelets.
Eh, I'm not going to bother watching, he's just not that interesting. Though I may watch it later if he somehow gets out of the charges.
First hour and last hour of the trial are going to be the only interesting parts unless he fires his lawyers and takes the stand against every sensible bit of legal advice in the entire legal profession.
There’s no way I’ll watch a single second of that shitshow. I’ll check next day news on the bullet points. That fuckstick isn’t getting one second of viewership from me.
It's not like he is going to be hosting it on his own page and making money from it lol.
That sounds exactly like what he’s going to do. Along with brag about how many people watched it.
Not going to be a part of his circus.
So, you do want to see it
What part of what I said gave you that impression?
Lllllet's get ready to ruuummblllllllllllllllle
This will be interesting.
Say eat you want, but when it comes to live entertainment, Trump delivers.
Let's just imagine I posted that one gif of Nathan Fillion where he holds his finger up and then thinks better of it.
Why wasn't the Epstein trials live on YouTube?
Eptsein pled guilty in 2005. There wasn't much of a trial and YouTube was brand new, it did not have live streaming.
Maxwell was charged and convicted in federal court where cameras are not allowed.
2005 ?!?!?!?!?! Whaaaat? How old am I?!?!??
The arrest where Epstein totally disabled cameras put two guards to sleep and then killed himself in a PC cell on suicide watch happened in 2019; before he was on trial for the latest information relating to his sex trafficking. He also plead guilty to a similar crime in 2005.
