We use electrical tape to cover up as many of those LEDs as we can. The blue is so frickin' annoying.

I once had a charging cable that had the blue LED on it. The cable! They're everywhere!

There are specific stickers for this, shaped exactly to cover just the led. You can also get ones that let a bit of the light through, but not enough to blind

The one I used to use has a blue LED on the charging brick. I put it in the kitchen and started using the laptop charger in bed at night because of it. It's ridiculous.

Because blue LEDs were a monumental invention, and they felt the need to put that shit on everything for a while. A lot of newer stuff is amber or white LEDs.

I have seen similarly upsetting thing on Philips charger - green charging and red charged. Like wtf do you know how many times I pull it out half charged.
