Oh look the thing that liberals claimed would happen if Trump wins in November is happening now while a Democrat is president and they're doing nothing to stop it

Welcome to c/news! Please read the Hexbear Code of Conduct and remember... we're all comrades here.
Rules:
-- PLEASE KEEP POST TITLES INFORMATIVE --
-- Overly editorialized titles, particularly if they link to opinion pieces, may get your post removed. --
-- All posts must include a link to their source. Screenshots are fine IF you include the link in the post body. --
-- If you are citing a twitter post as news please include not just the twitter.com in your links but also nitter.net (or another Nitter instance). There is also a Firefox extension that can redirect Twitter links to a Nitter instance: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/libredirect/ or archive them as you would any other reactionary source using e.g. https://archive.today . Twitter screenshots still need to be sourced or they will be removed --
-- Mass tagging comm moderators across multiple posts like a broken markov chain bot will result in a comm ban--
-- Repeated consecutive posting of reactionary sources, fake news, misleading / outdated news, false alarms over ghoul deaths, and/or shitposts will result in a comm ban.--
-- Neglecting to use content warnings or NSFW when dealing with disturbing content will be removed until in compliance. Users who are consecutively reported due to failing to use content warnings or NSFW tags when commenting on or posting disturbing content will result in the user being banned. --
-- Using April 1st as an excuse to post fake headlines, like the resurrection of Kissinger while he is still fortunately dead, will result in the poster being thrown in the gamer gulag and be sentenced to play and beat trashy mobile games like 'Raid: Shadow Legends' in order to be rehabilitated back into general society. --
wow, and who is in charge right now? the republicans? oh it's the democrats? well aint that just weird, i was told they love the LGBTQIA+
Do you mean who's in charge of the supreme court? Theoretically it is non-partisan, in reality it is currently Republican stacked.
An American politician who claims they want to do good stuff but who is not ready to break the power of the supreme court it's simply not serious about what they're saying.
sure, and so what? there's a lot the democrats could still do, yet refuse
Yeah obviously the president of the US and the Senate couldn't possibly be controlled by Democrats, because otherwise they would have the absolute ability to remake the supreme court. It's too bad, gosh it sucks that we live under the control of Republicans who control every arm of the federal government.
Lmao
I'm pretty sure that immunity ruling means that Joe Biden is technically within his rights to annul the supreme court via JDAM at any time
The Supreme Court is stacked yes
It's stacked because the Democrats absolutely rolled over every fucking time. When the Republicans blatantly tried to steal a seat nomination from Obama, the Democrats went "wow that is so rude" and did fuck all to stop it
They're in power now and when all these anti queer laws started they continued to do absolutely fuck all about it
Democrats will not lift a finger to protect your rights
It's like the lesser evilism doesn't even matter. It's just evil and evil. Democrats are the most useless, spineless, and feckless motherfuckers on the planet.
Well at least the Biden admin asked nicely
Real talk, why don't people bring this up? Like you have a Democrat president right now. Why is this shit still happening and how could another Democrat presidency prevent this from occuring again in the future when it's happening while they still have power?
Whenever people bring it up, Democrats clutch their pearls and explain that this is why voting is so important, because Trump stacked the Supreme Court, and so you have to keep voting Democrat to fix it
How will it be fixed? That they'll never say
Yeah and they'll never acknowledge that Obama could've stacked the courts himself but deliberately left vacancies that Trump then filled
The way the system is explained in schools is sorta rigged towards people saying "oh well, the Supreme Court has the final say, guess theres nothing more he can do". Hexbear is one of the only places on the internet where people are saying otherwise, like to the point where I half question if I'm in a cult that believes some crazy shit that isnt actually true lol, I was raised in a semi-cult so I have some warriness of that to be fair. But yeah thats just the understanding the vast majority of people have about civics. We're taught that way. Theres really not much room left for questioning it outside of that.
Owl fact:
The Supreme Court has no ability to enforce anything they say. The court gives opinions and its up to the Executive (President) and Legislative (Congress) branches to follow the SC's opinion or not.
Student loan forgiveness all over again.
sorry sweaty, doing "good things" is authoritarianism actually like a bunch of godless Asians
no more half measures walter
