Yeah, but have you seen the LA public library?
I have not. Honestly hopping on the greyhound to LA doesn't sound like the worst idea, it'd probably be a fun change of pace. If I got some time off.
I'd rather visit another country entirely though
I used to want to go to California, but these days, it doesn't sound so appealing. I want to go to Europe so bad
As much as America sucks there definitely is plenty of wonderful stuff to see and do here. And tons of wonderful people living under its boot. I try not to be too negative about aspects of the country that aren't inherently bad.
I most want to visit China, though. Lots of European countries too. I think if I were rich as fuck the first thing I'd do is just fly to like the UK or something and then travel over land all the way across Europe in a horrible wavy line, through China, across to Japan, and then back across the Pacific. Maybe stop somewhere along that path and simply never come back if I can (which I probably can because rich people can do anything)
That sounds a lot like what I would do if I had the opportunity. It sucks that a lot of us won't get to see this big ol planet, much less live in a place that people would want to vacation to. I count myself lucky to have been born where I am. The natural beauty is outstanding, and there are little pockets of culture worth sticking around for
