I haven't used Windows in so long. I wasn't aware this was a thing.
Added this week, optional as the post says
How exactly are they spinning showing ads in the start menu as a thing that a user would want?
They aren't, its just acclimation. Later they can say its been here for a while and the early adopters can say its not a big deal.
"Most [remaining] users found the recommendations helpful, so we made it the default. You're actually the one being weird here."
