Umm...I think I've boxed out any capabillity for that, is the logic not airtight (like, check it now, its been updated a few times). You got me worried there's still a hole in my logic πŸ€”

Pretty sure all the senses/possible inputs have been mitigated

You said insensitive to touch, but pain is separate from touch and smell.
You could also feed them ghost peppers to communicate, use ambient temperature as a signal, or cut onions in front of their eyes in a specific pattern.

If we are using ghost peppers to figure out a way to communicate, we can probably save some time and just interpret whatever response they give as "please kill me, you sadistic assholes" and land pretty close
