Did you see that lemmy.world has re-federated with hexbear and lemmygrad again?
They haven't though? I just checked the list of blocked instances and they are both still there.
@stankmut@lemmy.world is correct, they’re not federated. Hexbear just has multiple irrelevant urls on the allow list. No clue why you thought lemmygrad was on their allow list, though.
Who in their right mind would do that? Oh, right, the Lemmy.world guys are fucking morons. They also blocked !piracy@lemmy.dbzer0.com a few months ago, for no real reason.
Just like neighborhoods in real life, you have to find a neighborhood you like. I wish it was more explained when you first sign up, but it does matter what instance you make your home. That instance decides what's on your front page and the tone of your stay on Lemmy. Lemmy.ml is not a good fit for you it seems like, so try another neighborhood (or instance).
