What about things like newpipe, invidious, feetube etc?
Will work for now, but it's only a matter of time
I think they're just trying to outdo general ad blocking methods. The users who would go through the trouble of using a third party app to view are not the users that would be generating ad revenue anyways.
They want the people who make up 99% of their lost revenue, the people who just found out toy could click a couple times in your browser and install an ad block
