Some lib accused me of this the other day. My response was
it’s like those extremely bourgeois libs who will go on and on about the importance of travel in helping you grow as a person. Except their idea of travel is going to the French Riviera or some Mexican resort to have their whims completely catered to by the locals, and come back having their worldview confirmed. I’ll be honest I’ve only done international travel a handful of times in my life, but each time was one of the most eye-opening experiences of my life which really challenged some of my most deeply held beliefs, and which I credit with pushing me towards communism. These people tout the importance of “getting out in the real world” except somehow manage to have the same opinions as someone who has never left their shitty suburban hamlet.
These people literally cannot fathom that we exist so they just reason us out of existence. Oh they’re all white shut ins who aren’t living in the real world. Just like how we’re all Russian bots or right-wingers pretending to be queer.
