Commenting on something you were linked to is not brigading
The only thing that might be brigading, but isn't because it isn't a real thing, is someone explicitly going, "Hey everyone, go here and harass this person"
It's all fine and good that we have some new rules to keep the peace with other instances but we must fight against 
Honestly if you wanna have an open forum where just anyone can show up and post, I think the reality is you just gotta deal with the occasions "brigade" of people looking to debate bro you. If you don't want to deal either make your comm invite only or just have super van happy mods.

Yeah I know, I just studying coding right now which will hopefully land me a job I can do full remote which would be compatible with the lifestyle. Also idk where I wanna live so I think rucking it for a while may help me find a spot I like.

People come in all the time with shitty views and we don't complain about brigadiers or ban them, we just continuously point out how stupid they are until they go away or learn something.
we literally hammered away at each other, tearing away the reactionary parts of ourselves over time, and now we're overrunning the posting environment. the fact that our emojis break their sites is a perfect metaphor for it, they cannot handle what we bring to the table.
And by the way observe how dramatically the use of emojis went down when we all realized there was an issue with them
