I would imagine that a high proportion of atheists had some experience of religion as a child.

Me, I was raised Catholic, which certainly helped me score highly in the quiz.

I, too, was raised catholic! I never believed. Never "felt the spirit", as the delusional like to say. None of it. I just had to go through the motions because of my family. Then in high-school I became interested in pagan things (go figure!) and mysticism, which caused me to study all religions, and really blossomed when I started on my psychonaut journey several years later. It wasn't just studying religion, but the drugs that really helped me to see that the answer can only be that it's all bullshit, made-up fairy tales, and no divinity exists, except maybe as a metaphor within ourselves and a tool to work through the mess that is our own psyche, if we are even able to handle doing so. Not saying I don't enjoy a good fairy tale, but it's just metaphors and pretty imagery. If you really think any of that shit is real, you're delusional.
