Okay, well if you aren't saying that jokes should conform to reality and if you aren't complaining that people are finding this funny when you aren't, maybe you shouldn't be making any sort of deal about this and stop being such a killjoy.
So I can't criticize something, while enjoying it (or some parts of it) but people can't make the difference between criticism and trying to ban it, and/or they can't deal with criticism of a media that they enjoy and therefore it kills their joy. Ok.
As we give each other advices, maybe read what a person is saying instead of what you want them to say, so you can feel like they are forbidden you stuff, to then forbid them stuff. As you can tell, It makes it difficult to engage more deeply with art and that is a killjoy.
I am sorry that I forced you to read my comment with some many down votes. You couldn't have known. You couldn't have avoided it. I am sorry.
Interesting. You're complaining about someone criticizing you by suggesting you're not allowed to be critical. I wonder whether you realize the double-standard or if you're just okay with it?
Incidentally, if you read my comment, I used the word "maybe," meaning I was not telling you what you can and cannot do, which is pretty ironic since you said to me:

Your usage of "should" suggest an "ought" and given your previous criticism of my behavior, I made the assumption that you would suggest an ought. If I was wrong, I am sorry.
I never said or did anything that suggested that you can't find the joke funny. My comment even highlights the reasons why you would find it funny. And I really don't think anything suggested that it wasn't based in reality and/or that it has to be.
And ultimately, you chose to read a comment with (at the time) +-20 down votes, you chose to engage with that "negative" content to complained about that "negative" content. When I wrote my initial comment, I didn't chose to be bothered by people unable to read what it actually and clearly says. When you engaged with my comment, you chose to have this interaction. You chose to engage in a hostile conversation. And reading something seemingly hostile as hostile, is kinda the point of the joke. So I acted entirety within the framework that the joke that you try to defend, sets up.
I used neither the word ought or the word negative in any post I made to you. I also didn't complain about anything. Again, ironic considering you said, "maybe read what a person is saying."
I called it negative because it has 20 down votes. I never said you said that.
And I am sorry that you don't understand what should means.
I understand what should means. I also understand what maybe means when put with that word as part of a phrase. It does not mean ought, nor has it ever. Also, when you put a word in quotation marks and suggest that is what the person is saying, that means that's what they literally said and you are quoting them. Hence them being called quotation marks. I am sorry you don't know what quotation marks mean.
And I still have no idea what your problem with everyone else enjoying this is. You seem more interested in criticizing me than explaining your killjoy behavior. Which is also killjoy behavior. In a memes community no less.
You realize that you criticized me for thinking that joke had to conform to reality, to which I responded and I didn't thought so, then you criticized me for thinking that other people can't enjoy a joke because I didn't, to which I responded to and I didn't thought so. Why I was a "killjoy", wasn't the topic because you criticized what you thought I think, instead of my reasoning for my behavior. Which is only a killjoy because you want to read it as such.
I have explained my reasoning. I have explained what I dislike about the joke. I have explained why I dislike it. I have explained why I expressed that critic, in fact, specifically to you. If you don't know why I am a "killjoy" when you should have read what I wrote, instead of expressing criticism of opinions that I don't hold.
Quotes doesn't mean that it is a quote. It can mean that the meaning of a word in this context doesn't match the usual meaning. In this case, "negative" wasn't meant to mean that the content is negative, but that the content got a negative reaction, expressed by down votes. Which is why I referenced the Down votes. I thought you would catch on.
You realize this is a meme community and expecting people to respond to you in seriousness is incredibly stupid, right? Is this your first day on the internet? Have you yet to learn what a meme is?
Also, "I don't think this joke is funny" is not an explanation for why you appear to feel the need to ruin everyone else's good time.
Are you new here? Have you looked at how political the memes here are? Have you looked how often people argue in this community about memes? See, not really productive to write. But something that you might actually want to think about.

I agree it is amusing that someone is losing their shit over nothing, makes baseless assumptions (like that I try to get people to take me serious), gets called out, and finally after everything else is gone because they are that bad at arguing and expressing their thoughts, they invent a new reality in which the memes community isn't highly political and isn't arguing all the time, just to try to insult someone.
Look at our conversation and tell me who throw the hissy fit. Who used insults instead of arguing the point? I think this is called projection. Good luck in life. You will need it.
