They could have cut off the funding of Israel at any time, but they didn't. Israel is the attack dog of the US empire, the unsinkable aircraft carrier in the Middle East. Often, but not always, they do the dirty work that the US themselves don't want to do. Like the attack on Iran recently for example. Make no mistake, the Democrats want this policy. They just don't want to be as blunt about it.
