I guess it depends on mail in votes, but I become less sure it will be close

Some states count mail in votes (that they already received) first. That is why this might be actually worse than you think. She really needs to get lucky in a very few specific states. Losing the popular vote but winning the electoral collage is still possible, but getting harder for her.
