Maybe we could reach some kind of middle ground (so permanently lose/gain a half hour instead of a whole hour)?
Change the time everyday throughout the year to keep a constant sunrise time
Use a sextant to 'call noon' every day? Lovely.
Some people just want to watch the world burn.
