A "Showerthought" is a simple term used to describe the thoughts that pop into your head while you're doing everyday things like taking a shower, driving, or just daydreaming. The best ones are thoughts that many people can relate to and they find something funny or interesting in regular stuff.

Rules

  2. The entire showerthought must be in the title

The 1920s was "a long time ago" and the Andromeda galaxy is "a galaxy far, far away." Maybe the original trilogy took place 100 years ago in the next galaxy over. (lemmy.world)

My grandma was born in 1920. She died last year at 103.

I know she couldn't live forever, but she was the best person ever. Is it so wrong to want her to live to be 200 years old?
